About our Campers
The camper application process will begin on Friday, February 6, 2009. Please check back for an application.
Campers Served:
Persons of varying disability and functionality are encouraged to apply. Typical camper disabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Down Syndrome
- Autism
- Cerebral Palsy
- Spina Bifida
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Secondary Emotional Disorder
- Mental Retardation
- Cornelia de Lange Syndrome
- Cri-di-Chat
- Deaf/Hearing Impaired
- Blind/Visually Impaired
- Seizure Disorder
Age Range:
During the summer of 2009, we will serve approximately 320 campers between the ages of 6 and 45.
Camper's Locale:
Currently, most of our campers reside in the state of Florida. However, during the summer of 2008, we accommodated campers from 2 different countries, from 9 different states, and from 37 different counties in the State of Florida. We will happily welcome campers from across the globe.
Camper Application Process (FACT SHEET):
- The camper application process will begin on Friday, February 6, 2009.
- Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We will accept between 36 and 40 campers per session.
- Registration Fee is $250, although some scholarships are available.
